Look Up the Culver Court Docket

Start a Culver court docket lookup with one question: which court issued the citation, summons, or notice? Municipal traffic and ordinance cases run through the Culver city clerk. Matters filed in Kansas District Court run through Ottawa County and statewide channels instead. The city offers no online Culver court docket, ticket search, or court calendar right now. So call before you act. Keep the original number and date handy, reach the correct clerk, and confirm any setting before you appear in court or send payment.

Culver Court Access During a Web Rebuild

The official Culver home page carries an under-construction notice. Different page elements display different telephone numbers. Treat it as a contact lead rather than a settled municipal-court information system. Use it to reach the city. Then ask the recipient to confirm the court contact before you share records or act on a deadline.

The page notes that Culver is a third-class city incorporated in 1909. That history helps you confirm you have the right municipality. It tells you nothing about the current docket schedule, judge assignment, payment policy, or caseload.

When contact details conflict: use the current official city page, ask for the municipal-court custodian, and have that office confirm the return phone, address, and deadline.

The Culver Municipal Court

Culver municipal records cover city ordinance matters and certain traffic cases. They do not merge into the Ottawa County District Court docket on their own. A dated official municipal-court report named Steve Baccus as Culver's judge in that report's context. The city must confirm any current appointment.

The city posts no municipal session schedule, online citation form, or searchable docket. So ask directly. Who is the current municipal judge, clerk, or custodian? Where does the court sit, and what plea or payment process applies to your matter? A historical roster is never a substitute for a current court contact.

Culver City Meetings Are Not Court

The official Culver city page lists governing-body meetings on the second and fourth Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Those are city-government meetings. They are not municipal-court sessions, and publishing them says nothing about when a citation will be called.

Published itemWhat it meansUse for a court date?
Second and fourth Wednesday meetingGoverning-body scheduleNo
Ottawa Tuesday traffic scheduleDistrict court recurring settingOnly for a district matter after confirmation

Request Culver's municipal court calendar on its own. No calendar for another public body or court can reset the date printed on a ticket.

Culver Court Dates and Settings

Keep the original notice and follow its date unless the municipal clerk confirms a new setting. If a call produces a reset, ask how the revised date will be documented. A bill-pay link, an empty portal result, or a city council calendar never cancels an appearance.

DateThe citation response or hearing date, confirmed against the current city entry.
TimeThe case-specific time supplied by Culver, not a county pattern.
LocationThe municipal hearing place printed on the notice or confirmed by the city.
JudgeThe currently appointed municipal judge, verified rather than inferred.
Setting TypeAppearance, plea, pretrial, trial, compliance, or another docketed event.

The district court's Tuesday traffic calendar matters only when the case is actually filed in Ottawa County District Court. A Culver municipal case does not appear on it.

Culver City Clerk Record Route

The Culver city page lists City Clerk Katrina Tucker and City Hall at 205 Kansas Avenue, Culver, Kansas 67484. Postings and assignments change, so confirm the current clerk and her municipal records role through the live page first. Then send your request.

Culver City Hall

205 Kansas Avenue
Culver, KS 67484

Use the official city contact route and ask for the municipal-court records custodian.

In your request, quote the citation number, the ordinance or statute if shown, the issue date, the response date, and the exact record you want. Ask whether inspection is available, whether delivery can be electronic or by mail, and what fee estimate applies. Conflicting phone numbers on the city site are why none is repeated here.

Culver Traffic Tickets

Read the ticket before picking a portal. A Culver municipal ticket belongs with the city clerk or municipal court. An Ottawa County District Court citation belongs with the district clerk. It can be searched in CaseSearch by Citation Number. Where the officer was patrolling does not decide the answer; the issuing court does.

The Kansas Courts Central Payment Center is an official payment path for eligible Kansas court matters. Use it only if the citation or court directs you there. It is not a city bill-payment page, and it is not a full docket search. Anyone hoping to contest a citation should confirm appearance and plea options before paying.

K.S.A. 8-2118 describes traffic appearance and certain payment procedures. The notice itself still governs the response date and court.

Culver Docket Routing Matters

The 2020 Census place table reports 114 residents in Culver. It ranks Culver as the smallest of Ottawa County's five incorporated places in that ranking. That count says nothing about how many cases the city handles. It certainly does not mean Culver has no traffic or ordinance files.

Even a tiny municipality demands the correct issuing-court workflow. For a municipal case, a narrow request to the city custodian beats a statewide name search. District filing and disposition totals are county-level statistics. They cannot be converted into a Culver caseload.

Where Culver Cases End Up

Civil suits, state criminal cases, family, probate, juvenile, and other matters outside municipal jurisdiction all proceed in Kansas District Court. A municipal appeal may later open an Ottawa district record with its own case number. Until that district filing exists, the county clerk does not hold the Culver case.

Docket flow: Culver Municipal Court › Ottawa County Courts › Kansas District Court

The Ottawa County court docket is the county-level route for Culver matters. Municipal cases stay with the city. District users can also stop at the public terminal at 307 N. Concord in Minneapolis. They can call 785-392-2917 as well. Ask both courts only when the papers show both a municipal file and a filed district appeal.

Culver Docket Fields to Confirm

Culver does not label the fields on any public form, so the city should confirm them from the actual record. Keep the inquiry tied to your own case. Also avoid sharing protected identifiers that routing does not require.

Citation or case number
The exact city identifier printed on the notice.
Ordinance or statute
The cited rule, which is not itself proof of a disposition.
Notice date
The date issued and any stated response deadline.
Disposition
The recorded outcome, if the case has reached one.
Appeal route
The next court and deadline stated by the city or governing procedure.

A district number may carry the Ottawa prefix in a form such as OT-YYYY-CR-######. Treat that as a synthetic example only. Never alter a real Culver city number to force a match.

When Culver Is Not Searchable

Culver posts no public municipal docket, citation lookup, or court page online. That is an access gap, not proof a record is missing. Ask the city directly for a specific ordinance case, citation, date-specific docket, disposition, or copy.

The Kansas court-record request form works as a statewide model. It covers contact fields, record description, delivery preference, signature, and fee estimate. Culver publishes no local submission procedure. Ask the city which form and delivery method it accepts. The website may still be under construction. If so, confirm your message reached the proper custodian.

Public Access to Culver Court Records

The Kansas Open Records Act backs public access. Exemptions and other controlling law still apply. A Culver request should name one record in enough detail to locate it. Sealed, juvenile, confidential, and protected-person material may stay restricted. Ask for nonexempt parts rather than assuming every field is public.

Key Rules:

Kansas Open Records Act provides the state public-record framework subject to exceptions.

Kansas Supreme Court Rule 22 distinguishes public portal records from courthouse-terminal access.

K.S.A. 45-218 covers inspection, requests, response timing, and lawful fees.

Rule 22 governs the Kansas electronic court-record framework within its scope. It does not turn Kansas CaseSearch into a municipal Culver docket. The city remains the first custodian for a city citation.

Confirm Every Culver Court Detail

Do not rely on a bare Culver result. Have the custodian confirm the court name, case or citation number, current status, ordinance or charge, next setting, time, place, and required action. If payment comes up, confirm eligibility and the effect on plea rights. Need a copy? Ask whether it is plain or certified. Get the current cost.

Never infer an outcome from a charge, a payment link, or a missing result. The docket entry, the order, the disposition, and clerk confirmation control.
